Did Obama's Texas office ever take down that communist flag? Is ...
In 1963, John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Texas by a fervent admirer of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. In 2008, a large Cuban flag bearing the image of Che Guevara, brutal henchman of Castro, is highlighted in a campaign office for Barack Obama volunteers in Houston.
Obama has been widely compared to JFK, and especially by the late president's brother and his daughter. President Kennedy, a valiant anti-communist, despised Castro and his gang of totalitarian thugs. But when word broke last week that Obama's supporters in Houston work under a banner glorifying Che, the campaign's reaction was to get rid of the problem as one of the volunteers, and not the official campaign. If we see some evidence that the flag has indeed been removed, it must assume that it is still up there
I do not know what Obama was supposed to do, really. His campaign said they do not support the flag and Che, I do not think that something more was needed. It was a matter of volunteers. He had nothing to do with it, probably did not even know. So what could he say? Would you like an idea of the load without the flag?Even then, they could still claim it back into place after the photo. I do not think "hard evidence" could really be found.
