The Sartorialist: On the Street.....Moscow in Color
Growing up during the end of the Cold War, I had always heard that Russia was gray and depressing super. Is not this an old, famous Burger King commercial on a Russian fashion show? All models' wore gray head to toe and dressed exactly alike. Not that I base my worldview on a pub burger, but I continue to be amazed at how bright, vivid colors in Moscow. I that this young lady who is so dramatic in her suit, red coat, not a fashionista, but a normal girl from work ... actually, an "Account Manager for a top-equipment manufacturer."
There is a bit of style in us office drones, you just have to look really closely! My colleagues and I work in insurance (in Chicago!) And I think that our small team drives our office gray cabin with our style and color! some of our office mates think we're a bit crazy to wear skirts or dresses and heels, especially in winter, but who cares!
She is beautiful and sure of himself. We close our minds to certain parts of the world with a stigma of fashion imposed on them, shame on us. Some of the greatest art in the world, I think Carl F. came from Russia. And what about fur? Please! I like his red coat, the sexy black leather belt as a belt, black shoes and tights. It is simply fabulous, very royal, and she knows it!
schlep around Moscow women in stilettos and fur big "Shuba" or colored layers. They are always dressed. I tend to dress modestly in jeans and coats when I'm here not to attract attention and become a target. One of my aunts asked me why I want to dress "so poor". In New York the way I dress would be considered normal.I remember you made a disparaging remark about the shortcomings of the same geographic location about my city, Pittsburgh a few years ago with regard to the likely dismay men leggings receive approval. Instead, a tight pants contest here would get some results template that defies the laws of the boys. It seems contrary to reason that the fashion photographer of the street would have to assume a place in surface contact no shortage of styles. Shooting in the village and Milan are like fish in a barrel....
