Stalin directed by AR Murugadoss. It stars Chiranjeevi in the lead role, Trisha Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Khushboo Urvashi Sharada and in supporting roles. Anushka Shetty performs a serial number in the film. The filming was done at various locations in India including Hyderabad and Chennai. Songs for the film were shot in Italy and Austria. It is loosely based on the movie Pay it Forward released in 2000.Stalin is loosely inspired by the Hollywood movie Pay It Forward, where a young boy named Trevor (Haley Joel Osment) invents the Pay It Forward principle as a contribution to his social studies project, creating a movement nationally to convince people to do a good deed for three people who must in turn each do good deeds for three other people.
