Walrus use main goal was to identify the aircraft fire during naval battles, but this happened on the handful of occasions. Its main use is as a patrol aircraft, helping to find enemy submarines and surface ships. It has also been used by the RAF as an aircraft rescue sea air around the coast of Colombia, in the Mediterranean and India. post-war aircraft in service with the Argentine Navy, the French Navy (Naval Aviation) and the Egyptians and Turks. A few had found a civilian use on board whaling vessels operating in Antarctica, which had been fitted with the former Navy catapult equipment.Some have been used to transport passengers in places like Canada, Norway and Australia.
