Parkzone Sukhoi Micro RC Airplane Modifications Begin | Jasonweb.net
Thus, after some flights on the ParkZone Micro RC Airplane Sukhoi I started searching what I could change to improve his speed, visibility and the overall flight time. This led me to different forums and RC tips from owners who had the Sukhoi much longer than me and, collectively, flight tested many solutions and results displayed. So, here's what I've done so far.
I removed the stickers on the original Sukhoi ParkZone and I thought I used spray paint Krylon H2O I used in the past on some of my other planes. The extra weight that involved painting add me so I'm sheets MonoKote Trim as I used also on my other planes. I added an exact copy of the original form of yellow sticker, then added a small red stripe on the wing tip to the experience. So far, it works well, but the addition of further help, but also add weight. No way to test the most high profile mod. Here are some tips and examples of painting Sukhoi owners and others using colored markers
I started flying the Sukhoi DX5e with the Spektrum, but shortly afterwards knew that the plan would benefit from additional programming my new Spektrum DX6i allows, in particular the exponential programming. Horizon Hobby has a good article and video HERE, which covers it. I have many flights now using the DX6i and it's programming, it has smoothed out the flights and the barrel rolls to original pressure and fast loops.
In reading the online forums of several GWS accessories are used to increase the speed and torque to the Sukhoi. So far, I bought the GWS 5030 and I placed an order for the 5043 GWS. When you use the GWS accessories you must also buy adapters prop. I bought an adapter part # gws/spn001 GWS, which comes with 6 adapters, but only (2) will fit the son of 1.5mm on the Sukhoi.Several different options that I have read and got an order of Hyperion 240mAh larger (c. $ 4.95), so I have not received yet.I'll have to solder my connections JST own batteries as these are with son naked. There are shops and members on the forums that sell these batteries with the connection JST already soldered on it. Here is some information on batteries....
