CCCP Soviet BADGE / PIN-Soviet INF worn the uniform ESCORT

You are given a badge worn by a Soviet officer of government who worked with the INF Treaty (also known as OSIA inspection agency on-site) 23 years ago. It was necessary uniform, fairly rare to get, what makes a great collector's item.Included will be a notarized copy (with photo and personal name excluded) American badge worn during inspections to the treaty in order to validate the authenticity of the pin worn during the time of operation Treaty. *** Some information on the Treaty and that the badge was worn for / and by whom, to represent the CCCP: (from Wikipedia) *** The Treaty Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) is an agreement 1987 between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. Signed in Washington, DC United States byPresident Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev Secretary General on December 8, 1987, it has been ratified by the Senate of the United States May 27, 1988 and came into force on 1 June this year. The treaty is formally titled The Treaty Between the United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on the Elimination of their Intermediate-Range and Shorter-range missiles. The treaty eliminated nuclear and conventional ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles of intermediate range, defined as between 500-5,500 km (300-3,400 miles). As the Treaty of June 1, 1991, a total of 2,692 such weapons had been destroyed, 846 by the U.S. and 1,846 by the Soviet Union, which was much more unequal in number of heads INF destroyed. Under the treaty the two countries were allowed to inspect each other military installations. In March 1986, negotiations between the U.S. and the Soviet Union resumed, covering not only the INF issue but also separate discussions on strategic arms (START I) and space issues (NST). At the end of 1985, both sides were moving towards limiting INF systems in Europe and Asia.On January 15, 1986, Gorbachev announced a Soviet proposal to ban all nuclear weapons in 2000, which included INF missiles in Europe. This was rejected by the United States and opposed by a gradual reduction of INF launchers in Europe and Asia to none in 1989. There would be no constraints on the British and French nuclear forces. A series of meetings in August and September 1986 culminated in the Reykjavik summit between Reagan and Gorbachev on October 11, 1986. Both agreed, in principle, to eliminate INF systems in Europe and to equal global limits of 100 INF missile warheads.Gorbachev also proposed deeper and more fundamental shifts in strategic relationships. More detailed negotiations in 1987, helped by the decision of the West German Chancellor Helmut Kohl in August to unilaterally remove the joint US-German systems of the West Pershing IA. The treaty was finally agreed in September 1987. Delivery Terms / Conditions / Payment Options: All shipping is FEDERAL EXPRESS, because this is not something that can be replaced! You MUST sign VIA. My friend likes to look like he's from Soviet Union .?

Is it alright that my friend likes the USSR? He hates stalin and the killings, but he likes everything else. He even wears a track jacket reading CCCP! He can also be seen wearing small pins with the flag. Is this normal, or unacceptable?

Joe
He dresses with flags and medals even though they dissolved. He feels it was a good nation and needs to represents them.
